Here are some other nasty ones:
gnome-mag/po/kn.po (HEAD)
vte/po/kn.po (HEAD)
(The ones below doesn't belong to 2.6 D&DP)
gnome-themes/po/kn.po (gnome-2-4)
libgnome/po/kn.po (gnome-2-4)
monkey-bubble/po/fr.po (HEAD)
All these have not specified encoding in po file, though file(1)
suggests they are in UTF-8 (or ASCII for monkey-bubble one).
Perhaps kannada maintainer need to be notified.

As kmaraas and redfox indicated, battstat ones can be removed and
intltool ones shouldn't be changed.
