I'm not sure what you mean by "[separating] gettext domains out". GTK+
has two domains: do they have to be classified as belonging to the same
category just because they are part of the same source package?

If you agree the separation of the strings was done to reflect the strings'
priority, then surely you agree that the property strings are of a lower
priority than the others. If the strings are of a low priority,
shouldn't the group they're in reflect that?

I'm not suggesting that we split up strings from other modules: GTK+ is
rather a special case by virtue of the fact that (a) it is very large
compared to most translation domains, and (b) the vast majority of its
strings are not visible to ordinary users (405 vs. 1018).

Given that I understand developer-libs and desktop are supposed to
represent the proportion of GNOME used by general GNOME users, I merely
thought that it was a little strange for gtk+-properties to be included
therein. I'm sure many translators would be glad if its 1018 strings
were not counted among those needing translation for a 100% translated
GNOME desktop.
