Oh, there's no reason to report duplicates -- just update the original
bug report accordingly (versions, keywords, etc, perhaps a new patch if
needed) so that it is uptodate.

If that still doesn't help, send a kind mail to the maintainer and point
them at the bug report.

But please avoid reporting duplicate bug reports.
