gtkfilechooser terminology question

Hi,
I have a small question, hope some of the gtk developers can answer;

msgid ""
"Could not change the current folder to %s:\n"
"%s"

Does that message talk a about a 'renaming' thing where the user would
like to change the name of the current folder to %s?
Or is it a display thing where the user would want to display the
contents of another folder (%s) in the filechooser?
(right now, seems like the frasing of the message points to former 
case)
