is safe to apply patch forbug 154153 for gnopernicus?

Hi all,

I have a patch for gnopernicus (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/
attachment.cgi?id=32108&action=view) for bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/
show_bug.cgi?id=154153. The patch adds a new file to POTFILES.in, but all 
string are (I think they are) already included. I also checked by generating 
the template with all translatable strings (by running ../intltool-update -p 
in po directory) for the version with and for the version without the patch. 
I didn't notice any difference. May anybody confirm this?
