Please do not send attached po files to the list; instead please send
a mail with a web link to a place where the po files can be
downloaded. That way, we can reduce mail size for the hundreds of list
members that are not interested. Of course, this assumes that you can
use some web space for storing your translations temporarily.

The normal policy is that CVS access is normally granted *after* some
substantial contributions have already been committed to CVS. That
way, we can limit accounts for CVS access to the people who request
them and need them. And the best evidence for needing an account of
one's own is having already contributed stuff to CVS...

So the usual procedure for a new coordinator is:

1. Create translations
2. Make sure they validate
3. Ask for someone to commit them for you
4. When they have been committed, and you think you've contributed
enough for making it obvious that you need an account of your own,
request an account. The instructions can be found at:
