Thank you for your attention to the details, but I believe you've got a
distribution-specific issue. GNOME Vino doesn't have this "is free software"
message; you can look by yourself at:

http://l10n-status.gnome.org/gnome-2.16/PO/vino.gnome-2-16.pt_BR.po
http://l10n-status.gnome.org/gnome-2.18/PO/vino.HEAD.pt_BR.po
Read the output of the following command:
msgunfmt /usr/share/locale/pt_BR/LC_MESSAGES/vino.mo
If the reported erroneous message shows up, then you have a
distribution-specific issue, and should report it there.
