I'd like to hear his reasons: as I said, I see several translations on
his page, so maybe it's just a misunderstanding if he should
actually commit unfinished translations to CVS. 

Reasons to commit early and often:
 - allows testing (.schemas, .desktop, .server, .xml and similar files
   get translated only if translations are packaged, it's not enough
   to put translated MO file on the system)
 - allows us to judge progress
 - encourages contributors to help and comment on the translations

Please, lets not try to make such accusations in here.  Btw, in
translation, we definitely want some of the "cathedral" approach, or
we'd be having completely messy translations everywhere: that's why we
apoint single coordinator for each language.

As I said, one dedicated person can do more than a bunch sometimes,
this is not definite, and please, let Aiet answer this question for
himself.

Ok, it seems you've got some nice support behind your efforts, that's
great to hear!

We choose a single coordinator, so we can relay to him/her on all
issues regarding that language (brothers can have different opinions
as well ;).

So, you'll have to make your choice: who is proposed coordinator
instead of Aiet?

Hum, you're speaking as if translations on his page are worth nothing?
Can you elaborate on that, please?  Are they really worthless?

I see things like Evolution 51% translated, Epiphany 74%, gedit 74%,
nautilus 55%.  This is some significant work, I'd say (also, how
current is this?), though not significant in the sense of two year
period.  Aiet, I'd like you to describe the actual work that has been
done (basically, Aiet, you are in trouble, and you need to convince us
that you are a worthy coordinator with results, not words).

Also, I am waiting for Aiet's response.  I am giving him a couple more
days to respond, and I hope Christian agrees with that.
