Looking at the keytouch page, I can't see a clear link to GNOME (at
least, not directly). We probably shouldn't think about moving (or even
maintaining a copy) of it in GNOME CVS, especially not if the only
intention is to leverage translator resources. I think it would probably
be best left hosted on SF for now unless there was a more compelling
reason to host it with GNOME.
>From what I can make out, translating all the GNOME components is
already a fairly time-demanding past-time, so I don't think it would be
appropriate to expect the GTP translators to undertake the translation
of every open source project that comes along, whether directly
connected with GNOME or not. We ought to consider where we should draw
the line, iyswim.
Being one of the larger, more organised OSS translation projects, I
expect we will see a few calls for help on our list, and I would
encourage individual translators to help out wherever possible. But the
GTP's official remit should only extend to directly GNOME-related
technologies, imho.
Just my take on it.
Cheers,
