Dear All,
One of the benefits of the new Bugzilla installed at the GNOME main
servers is this page,
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=l10n
It shows in a very nice way all bugs submitted for localisation; and it
allows to search/list
based on the language, the GNOME version, the bug severity and more.
If your language appears in that list, then there are bug reports
pending and they should be fixed.
The Localisation Page allows for the fine search of bugs; for example,
to search for bugs for French
filed under GNOME HEAD which have severity normal or critical, click on
these keywords
and a search query will formed. Then click on the Show button and you
get the search result!
Each language has a localisation leader. Check for your language who is
the localisation leader.
Christian, is there a page which lists these contacts?
Currently there are two remarks on the Bugzilla Localisation Page
1. There are a few reports pending for French. Is there a member of the
French team around to trim these down?
2. Quite a few languages are present in the Bugzilla localisation page
due to the weather applet issue.
This gives the opportunity to try out Bugzilla and make sure the
settings are ok for your language.
Bugzilla is a formal bug reporting and handling tool. Spending time to
learn and use it is a good skill to develop.
If you have any queries, feel free to post them here.
Simos
