Sorry, Daniel, I'm totally new to the i18n side of things.

Doesn't the translator run "intltool-update --pot" to generate a pot 
file? I see that there is a "dead" pot file in cvs, with the annotation 
"Pot files are generated files and should *not* be stored in cvs."

Advice appreciated...
