referring to :

i find that my name doesn't appear in the above page though i have the
cvs commit rights. i am also interested in applying for the
maintainer-ship for the assamese translation project (if sunaram is ok
with it) since in his reply to Ross Golder, Sunaram has said that he is
inactive (mail to gnome-i18n on 20th November 2006).  can anyone tell me
the proper way to apply for maintainer-ship ?
