Fully agreed.  There has been serious issues with using lists not hosted
on GNOME facilities before.  Lets just use the unused
gnome-ir-list gnome org    I will personally administer the list and
ensure its health.  I will update the list info page on Monday to
reflect this new use.  All people interested should go ahead and
subscribe now.
