Hi Johannes.
Thanks for your tip. I have reinstalled Perl and it is now working for me by cd-ing into my Gnome folder and running "perl en_GB.pl input.pot > output.pot". I think I will leave it like that as I can then run it on any machine from a flash drive.

If you didn't install the script in some directory contained in your
$PATH variable you probably need to run
./en_GB.pl input.po > output.po
from the directory your en_GB.pl script lies in. Otherwise, just copy
the script to /usr/bin, you can run it from any directory then.
