You may also report translation bugs/errors using Bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=l10n
That has the benefit of making sure the appropriate language team gets notified.

Sure. I opted for pushing the change directly in this case, because the error completely broke the settings panel (for everyone, e.g. independently from the used locale), so it looked kinda urgent.
