I got scolded a few years ago for using re-install, as it's not
technically a word. I'm open for ideas here.
Oh dear. But the Oxford English Dictionary says:
reinstall > verb (reinstalls, reinstalling, reinstalled) [with obj.] 1
place or fix (equipment or machinery) in position again.
(etc.)
Even if it hadn't been in the dictionary, it is so commonly used in
computing that I would argue that it exists.
