GNOME Internet Radio Locator (GIRL) version 3.0.0

Finally, GNOME Internet Radio Locator (GIRL) 3.0.0 is available.

Last week I was thrown into hospital after a successful build of GIRL 3.0.0
on Mac OS X Yosemite at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in Oslo, and
I'm doing the GIRL 3.0.0 release from Oslo Hospital, the oldest hospital in
Oslo, Norway. I am here only temporarily. Going to San Francisco in June.

There is no sound on Mac OS X, but you can install macports.org with all of
the GNOME dependencies in order to build GIRL on Mac OS X.

I dislike Apple, because there's no sound on Mac OS X, in GIRL, because the
Mac OS X operating system is proprietary. That's why there is no sound when
you compile and run GIRL on Mac OS X. Their sound card engine code is not
freely available, but you can always compile GIRL on Mac OS X and see the
GIRL graphical user interface.

This new GIRL 3.0.0 release comes with support for two new radio stations,
KTUH in Honolulu, Hawaii and Radio Eco in Pisa, Italy.

All of the included 64 Internet radio stations in this program are:

It is almost 5 months ago since I released GIRL 0.2.0 and I have
frankly no idea how many people who run this program to listen to
Internet radio. 16 people (see AUTHORS) have contributed to the program
so far.

If you find the program useful, drop me an email at ole src gnome org
The GIRL program is completely free, but you don't have to do anything
else than run it on your computer in order to listen to Internet
radio. You are also free to fork it as long as you follow the license
terms in GNU GPL version 2, but I would appreciate if you send patches
instead of releasing your own version. Send patches through Bugzilla
on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=girl

You could install and run GIRL on free GNU/Linux systems (such as Debian
GNU/Linux available from http://www.debian.org/ and Fedora Linux available
from https://getfedora.org/ with the provided binary packages) and listen to
58 supported Internet radio stations around the world if you have installed
the Videos application (https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Videos) from the GNOME
project.
