Re: Introducing Nuntius

So my main concern was the android side of this right now since it is the one having the
UI currently. The linux side has some few strings but they are not visible to the user,
at least for now until we will add some UI to it.

I created a translators groups in github and Piotr Drąg already joined it and added
the translation for android and linux. If you want feel free to request access to the github
repo. I guess in the future we will definitely move the linux one to gnome once it is
really needed.

For android it is very easy to translate it, you just have to pick the xml file and modify the
strings. I know it would be better with a po file that way you could use the great gtranslator
but for now it is the best we have.

Here is an example on how to do it:
https://github.com/holylobster/nuntius-android/commit/477559f138764f37b10df5a4793696b0467b500b

If you have any doubts or suggestions to improve this situation please do not hesitate on
contacting me.

Cheers

Hi colleagues

Please, Will Nuntilus be listed on "https://l10n.gnome.org/module/" in a closer future?

Thanks a lot,
Enrico.

What about including the Linux component as an extra application in GNOME, and keep the other ones (iOS, android, etc) in Github? Don't know how translations work in ios/android, but shoud not be difficult to reuse po files in the other systems.

We released nuntius so we would love to get some translations from your side. What do you propose to make this easier for translators? See that I'd rather keep the repos in github since it is a set of repositories and some of them (android, ios in the future etc) do not have anything related to gnome per se. We are though open to give access to the current translators to those repositories, or you may as well just pull request to get the translations in.

Regards.
