Re: Portugal portuguese manual files

Makes sense. I will adopt these recommendations from now on.
I had a complain about the build failing related to the pt-PT files but the files validate on PoEdit and on DamnedLies.

https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-calculator/commit/?id=02e983a17188ac27215333e5bf5e1d7441a684a3

I would like to avoid that situation in the future, but I am not sure I can do anything differently to avoid it. Any ideas?

Th PO file is ok, don't worry about it.

The build issue was introduced by a unintentional new line introduced by my text editor to the file help/Makefile.am.  In order to activate the translation of the help files for a language, its language code (e.g. pt) must be listed in a single line in the HELP_LINGUAS variable. With a new line, unexpected text was found, breaking the compilation -- which definitely is not desired.

So, in order to avoid issues like this, one should always pay attention to changes to repository before committing (git diff) and/or review the commit before pushing (git diff HEAD^). And disable automatic-adding-newline-like features.

Best Regards,
Rafael Fontenelle
