I'm not sure to understand what you mean by "module/template".
For the platform translations, everything is in src/retro/retro-platform.vala from the gnome-games module. I'll add comments, thanks.
For the UI changes, they are in several .vala files which have all been added to POTFILES, and no string has been changed in UI templates.

The error display page of Games now displays messages explaining the reason
of the failure. With this change came many new strings.
A notable change is the addition of many strings describing gaming
platforms/system, which should be localized — for example "Sega Genesis"
should be "Mega Drive" in most of the world.
Which exact module/template does this refer to?
(Are you the developer? In that case, I would recommend writing these
things as translator comments so they appear in the file itself.)
