Hey Dani!
This is a great idea, since Gtranslator has been fixed and improved so it now is completely usable for GNOME translators as an official translation tool.
I have some ideas for the integration-with-DL project, and a hackfest might be an ideal scenario to talk about it. I'm not sure I could move to Malaga, but surely I could attend it remotely.
Many thanks for your efforts improving and fixing it.
Cheers!
Hello,
Some time ago I take the gtranslator project [1] and I've updated it to
use Gtk3 and fixed some issues. Right now I'm just maintaining the
project and fixing small issues from time to time, but I take advantage
of internship programs like GSoC and Outreachy to propose projects to
improve it, so I think we've some resources to spend here and improve
the translation experience.
I don't know a lot about translations and the GNOME translation
process, that's the reason because I want to plan a hackfest or a video
conference talk to review GNOME translators tools and think about how
we can improve this.
I'm based on Malaga (Spain) and I think that I'll be able to find a
place to do a 2/3 days hackfest, are there someone interested in
something like this for Feb or March?
In other case I'll try to plan one or more remote open meetings to work
on this.
Regards,
