I might not understand... How is this problem solved by reporting
something in damned lies itself, instead of GNOME Gitlab?

Maybe that's possible, though I'm wondering how OAuth (/LDAP) would
work between l10n.gnome.org and gitlab.gnome.org because there must be
that user's account which creates a ticket in GNOME Gitlab. Not sure if
any and all translators also have a GNOME Gitlab account...

Maybe we could create special user for this case (like the Damned Lies user for commiitng translations). Retrieving each module gitlab's URL should be easy since DL's API has it (i.e. https://l10n.gnome.org/api/v1/modules/podcasts).

Also we could make it better: if logged user in DL has account in Gitlab, issue is opened with that user; if no, use the "default" user.

Setting up task templates in GNOME Gitlab is another option but I don't
know much about it. Might be on a per-project level so wouldn't scale.

Yes, AFAIK gitlab templates are owned by each module, but having a tag to file every translation issue could work.

Just some ideas ;-)
