Cannot git clone from 'git.gnome.org' - getting Permission denied (publickey)

Yep, managed (previously).

Currently, I am getting [1] i.e. Permission denied (publickey).

 

Please let us know if that wasn't the case.

$ git clone ssh://sandeeps git gnome org/git/gedit

fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
$ echo $?
128


I came across https://mail.gnome.org/archives/infrastructure-announce/2014-October/msg00001.html and found that access to git.gnome.org service is not working.
