Yes, he was right ! I tried some of the gtk+ examples.
I got on all apps this "sigsegv caught" error. Know
someone if a newer version as the glibc-1.99 on LinuxPPC
will work fine with the gtk+ 1.1.1 ??
I use:
glibc-0.961212-1g
glibc-devel-0.961212-1g
glibc-static-0.961212-1g
