ANNOUNCE: Released gnome-core 0.28

Hello,

I just released gnome-core 0.28.

The main difference to 0.27 is that there are a lot of compilation
fixes to make it work both for people building out of CVS and for
people building out of the tarballs.

Applets are not working at least on my machine, but it compiles
cleanly and also builds the RPM without problems, so I can link
the `libgtop-apps' module against it.

I will soon test this release on FreeBSD (where applets worked at least
with the CVS version from yesterday) and make some patches if required.

The sources can be found either in the GNOME CVS tree (tag 
GNOME_0_28_MARTIN) or via ftp from my site:

Binary RPMS linked with mico:

	gnome-core-0.28-SNAP.mico.i386.rpm

	gnome-core-devel-0.28-SNAP.i386.rpm

You can also get source (taken from my RedHat 5.1 CD-ROM) and binary RPMS
of mico there:

	mico-2.0.5-1998050416.src.rpm
	mico-2.0.5-1998050416.i386.rpm
	mico-devel-2.0.5-1998050416.i386.rpm

Finally, there are some other GNOME source and binary RPMS (I got the
latest release from the GNOME ftp site and recompiled the source RPMS).

Sorry, applets do not work for any unknown reason - neither with mico nor
with ORBit.

The gnome-core 0.28 release reflects the latest CVS version except gmenu
which is taken from the 0.27 release.

P.S.: The LibGTop source and binary RPMS are the ones of the stable
      release which I will announce as soon as I got the libgtop-apps
      working
