Compiling problems - Imlib

Ok, if I use the "--disable-gtktest" option of configure, Imlib detect 
GTK.  It just can't run the test.

When I try to "make" it, I have the following error:

gdk_imlib_private.h:56: gif_lib.h: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [load.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/jeff/Linux/autres/imlib/gdk_imlib'

Any suggestion would be ver appreciated.
