They are also a requirement in the GNU coding standards, and a good
one for many good reasons, mostly having to do with large distributed
projects.
I would suggest, Elliot, that once the project reaches a minimum mass
(like more than a couple of files (smile)) you start using ChangeLog
files, so that others will join you happily in hacking on it.
