On a related note (gnome-libs), all the gnome-hello programs that came
with gnome-libs, with the exception of gnome-hello-0-basic, dumps core
when I try to access the menus.
They give the error:
** ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
IOT trap/Abort (core dumped)
I just want to check if it is a known problem, so that I don't tear my
hair apart for nothing.
It would be cool if I could start writing gnome apps soon, but I guess I
will need to have gnome up and running first, which hasn't proved to be
very easy. (yeah, I know it's alpha software)
