I have seen the light (and it is called xpm)

I was reading the source to testgnome in gnome-libs when I came across this
parculier line of code:

#include "bomb.xpm"

I was a little taken aback, xpm is that not an image file format, and hence
binary data? lets find out

  $ less bomb.xpm

Shock horror? Relisation. Followed by quiet ammusmement.

I understand why raster dislikes them.
