On 4 Nov, luther@maxime.u-strasbg.fr scribbled:

-> "bug" in imlib (not sure it is the right place here).
->
-> i compiled imlib as follows :
->
-> ./configure --prefix=$HOME
->
-> so a $HOME/etc was created and the imrc and im_palette.pal placed in it.
->
-> but the imrc file points to /usr/etc/im_palette.pal instead of the correct
-> place who is $(prefix)/etc/im_palette.pal
you most likely ran configure first THEN make then ran it again later
with --prefix=$HOME
configure generates the imrc when you run configure. Note in conifg in
the imlbi dir there's a imrc.in with a correct @sysconfdir@ replacement
holder and the makefile (Makefile.am) sed's that imrc.in to produce an
imrc witht he right path - this happens on make.. if imrc exists it
isnt re-generated. CVs has an imrc in it.. make dist doesnt package it
though, so when make dist is run to actually distribute it's fine. :)
yes I can remove it form cvs if you want.
