Gimp.......

Im very frustated becouse of gimp..... it dosent want to compile....
I got it from CVS, this is the message: 

[I did autogen --prefix=/gnome, and almost all went ok except for this: 
 configure: warning: *** gimp-perl plug-in won't be build (perl5.005 or
higher required) **   ]  i have perl 5.004
