ditto (got it running on a 2.6 Ultra5, but it wasn't near as stable as the
linux-x86 version. In particular, applets were a sure way to got bailed
out much faster than using the regular logout menu. All sound related
stuff is broken. Mouse & keyboard stuff expect XFree86-specific
libraries, which fortunately I have because I'm using egcs-built client
X11 stuff, but most Solaris users don't, etc.)

install libXpm (I assume you already installed ImLib).
Also, it might be of help if you use X11 libs compiled by you, to manually
add --x-includes= and --x-libraries= -- it saved my life despite having
correctly defined PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH)

or #define NeedVarargs... 1
Good luck.

(needless to say, we downgraded the whole site back to KDE, but I'll sure
keep on following GNOME/Solaris progress. Actually, when the Gnome
Tinderbox comes to life, I have enough place & CPU to give it, if the
powers that be are interested)
