Re: gtk+ won't compile



I have a little suggestion:

1. Remove ALL packages. 
2. Once removed, do this:
	updatedb ... locate filetype
	where filetype is like gtk, gdk, glib etc.
3. Once you find any remnants lying about DELETE them.
4. continue doing a updatedb everytime you remove something then locate
again untill every instance of GTK+, GDK, IMLib (includeing gdk_imlib),
GLib, ORBit etc are ALL removed..
5. Once you are satified type ldconfig and then re-install your RPM's

I personally hate packages (feels to much like an automatic, I like Stick
Shifts myself)...I might suggest you tey a manual install...Yep go ol
tarballs or if ya feel lucky cvs :>
