    (snip the rest)

I'm relatively new to gnome and installed 0.3 last week (Red Hat 5.1
system).
I expected (and got) problems. For instance, I can't get gmc to work
because
the GTK_COLOR variable isn't defined in one of the libraries. I'm sure
that
these problems will eventually be worked out.

There is one thing that I suspect could be done now, however. Would it be
possible to gather all the rpm's into two directories on ftp.gnome.org?
These
would be "required" and "optional". As it was, I found myself getting rpms

from four different directories on two different sites and I had to spend
quite some time searching to find a couple them (for instance the upgrades
in
the "jpeg" directory on the Red Hat mirror).

Just a suggestion. Perhaps this wouldn't be as easy as it sounds.

    Tom
