resourse editor suggestion

Hi!

Probably this is not a gnome, but rather a gtk question, anyway:

Is it possible (and how difficult) to implement something similar to
editres for gnome/gtk aware applications? There not so much resources
but complex widget hierarchy, so managing application resources
(especially fonts) effectively w/o knowlege of source structures 
becomes a big problem.

I even could propose a name for such a tool - jewel, as an every gnome
resource:)

BTW, why GNOME's corba related products do not named 'cobra' taking into
account general zoo incline? :)
