Hello Gnomes,

After bugging ya'll for a long time now with questions and stuff (thanks
again to all who didn't lose patience) I can report now that I managed to
compile Gnome and it seems to run without any major problems. I fixed the
corrupted-icons-problem by installing a brand new ImageMagick, then
recompiling glib, gtk, imlib, gnome-libs and gnome-core. I use a SuSE
System, and the Imagemagick that Suse delivers is just plain BAD.

Anyway, I'm sure I will have some minor problems, but I won't get to test
it all before tonight.

Thanks again, and have a happoy couple-of-days-off over this weird
Christian feritility rite.
