If Balsa is indeed dead, is anyone interested in teaming up to pick up
where the original authors left off?  I personally think Balsa is the best
looking mail client out there, and I would love a client with GNOME
compliance (mmmmmmmmm....drag and drop attachments).  However, I need
something with powerful filters, MIME support, etc., so I am currently
using xfmail (the ugliest but most powerful client I know of).  I would
gladly join a team that wants to pick up Balsa, however, if I can force
regular expression filters in there....
