Hi,
Just came across a good bug using latest packages:
right-click on desktop to bring up default gmc(?) menu. Go across the
first entry, right-click an item and drag it to the desktop as it you
were creating a link, and it core-dumps.
Can anyone confirm that this is to do with gmc? How can you tell?
Also, as I've got somewhat of a history of giving bug reports to
authors, and I'd like to know:
1. How do I get a backtrace?
2. The core-dumps are often large (2 happened this afternoon, one at
1.3Mb the other 1.1Mb). Am I expected to mail these to someone?
3. After logging out of a session, I almost certainly see a huge number
of GDK and GTK errors fill my screen. Other then doing startx 2>
gnome-errors every time I startup X, how I do log the errors? Also
who is the lucky person who wants these errors (bearing in mind I
often can't tell what produced them)?
Cheers,
--
