problems (bug?) with imlib-1.9.4

I have some problems getting gmodules to work (FreeBSD-3.1R, newest
versions of all GNOME related libs) and while poking around I found:

imlib-1.9.4/gdk_imlib/modules.c:

Definitions:

gdk_imlib_inline_fn _gdk_imlib_inlined_png_to_image = inline_png;
gdk_imlib_load_alpha_fn _gdk_imlib_load_alpha_png = loader_alpha_png;

in get_module_loader_saver()	(around line 141)

mlib_load_alpha_png = (gdk_imlib_inline_fn *) load_fail_fn;

is the cast correct? The compiler barfs about incompatible pointer
assignment. At least the "*" looks suspect, but I must admit I
don't have a clue about the code at this point.

P.S. Anyone have a hint with the modules on FreeBSD-3.1R ??
