You have a point there, and that's why I think SRPMs should sometimes be
pushed instead. At least that way, an end-user doesn't really have to think
to much to build the package on their systems, using egcs, pgcc, gcc or
whatever compiler they like. And even have the glibc of their choice
installed. At least this way you still have package management as an option.
Anyways, the release of RPMs is definately behind a little. Although, one of
the Redhat guy's said something about RPMs being released this weekend. Have
to wait and see though...
