um..help? (dependencies)

when installing the new RPMS I get this:

failed dependencies:
        libguile.so.2 is needed by gnome-games-1.0.2-7
        libguile.so.2 is needed by gnumeric-0.23-1
        libguile.so.2 is needed by libgtop-examples-1.0.1-1.1
        imlib = 1.9.4 is needed by imlib-devel-1.9.4-1
        gnome-libs = 1.0.3 is needed by gnome-libs-devel-1.0.3-4


so what did I do?  I went and got guile.  again.
and I got THIS:

failed dependencies:
        libguile.so.4 is needed by libgtop-examples-1.0.1-1

HELP.  I HAVE .so.4 . shouldn't that cover the .so.2 dependency?
and if it doesn't, why does libgtop need .so.4?? am I an idiot, or
what??
