Gmc loses its ground ?

Hi all,

Ive had this problem for a while now (on different machines - all using
Redhat Linux)

When i make new workspaces in E and switch to one of them GMC loses  it.

That is, all the icons are still there trough the switch but it wont accept
dropping icons on the desktop or any of those moves.
When switching back to desktop 0 then everything works again.

Im having this problem both the latest Starbuck (5.9.7) and on my rawhide
machine that are using the latest RPMS from Redhat Labs.

Anyone else having this ?
Is it fixed in CVS ?
