Same thing happens with Eterm, so I guess it's not a Gnome Terminal
problem... Calling it with "Eterm &" does work, thou... BTW, I'm using GDM
(1.0.0-12 RPM) and Eterm is 0.8.9-1 RPM on RedHat 5.2
