How do I alter country seetings in GNOME ?

Hi,

I'm a newbie - been running GNOME 1.0 for a few days
now on my RH5.2/i386 box.  Everything seems OK (having
a few problems with PPP dial-up, but I'm sure I can
figure it out).

My main problem is with the country settings.  I would
like (date formats especially - dd/mm/yyyy) to be in
the British format.

How do I do this ???
