Hi Miguel :) found a cockroach in a gmc folder this morning

apparently the contents of the gmc desktop (icons/folders/etc) as you know are held in .gnome-desktop (i thought it was ~/desktop , which seems like a better place to me .... but i haven't heard the arguments against this).. anyway, GMC pukes on me when i create a .directory (hidden) in ~/.gnome-desktop and when i try to access that folder on the desktop with a double click :((((
