Try reinstalling the gnome-libs.*.i386.rpm binary package and see
what happens, if this doesnt work try reinstalling the gnome-core
bin pack, also as Jonas has stated try installing the basic devel-
packages like glib-devel, gtk+-devel imlib-devel gnome-libs-devel
gnome-core-devel. Here is the thing with this, however, I did not
have these installed when I found that file you are looking for...??)
let me see what that file belongs to...ok I stand corrected, it
belongs to gnome-libs-devel package, you can find out what files
belong to what package with this command ' rpm -qf
/usr/lib/gnomeConf.sh ' I must have had the gnome-libs-devel
package installed and didnt realize it, so install that one and you
should have no problems, however, I recommend installing the gtk+
glib and imlib devels as well. as these are standard devels for
compiling programs for gdk
