I would be very pleased if I only had a text editor with text
formatting capabilities. The ones that I know (StarOffice, WP, even
Netscape) are too big for such a thing. I think that some WordPad kind of
thing would be very fine.
(If there's something like that, please tell me and O:-))
BTW, a simple but I guess that difficult question for improving
GNOME would be less memory needs. I find some applets (eg, drivemount,
clockmail) to eat too much memory. But maybe that's only because I don't
know what is required for a thing like that, maybe that memory needs are
justified:-) Forgive my ignorance if this' the case O:-)
