Hi,
For what it's worth, when I do a make install, I get a message from libtool,
telling me that it's relinking the program for me. Presumably this means
I've got nothing to worry about.
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=install /usr/bin/install -c gnome-name-service /home/lyndon/bin/gnome-name-service
libtool: install: warning: relinking `gnome-name-service' on behalf of your buggy system linker
gcc28 -g -O2 -Wall -Wno-unused -o .libs/gnome-name-serviceT gnome-name-server.o -L/home/lyndon//lib -L/home/lyndon/lib -lORBitCosNaming -lORBit -lIIOP -lORBitutil -lglib -lm /home/lyndon/lib/libgnome.so /home/lyndon/lib/libgnomeui.so /home/lyndon/lib/libart_lgpl.so /home/lyndon/lib/libgnomesupport.so -laudiofile -L/home/lyndon/lib -lglib -laudiofile -L/home/lyndon/lib -lglib -L/home/lyndon//lib -lgdk_imlib -L/home/lyndon//lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk -lgdk -L/home/lyndon/lib -lgmodule -lgthread -lglib -lXext -lX11 -lm -lintl -ljpeg -ltiff34 -ljpeg -lz -lungif -lpng -lz -lm -lSM -lICE -L/home/lyndon//lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk -lgdk -L/home/lyndon/lib -lgmodule -lgthread -lglib -lXext -lX11 -lm -lintl /home/lyndon/lib/libgnorba.so -lname-server -lintl -lm
