I used to use the pixmap engine themes a while ago, but lately I've
felt that it's getting real slow, to the point of getting useless. I
have no idea if this is my imagination or something real. But I remember
being able to use it and not being very slow. Now it's crawling...

I've looked through the changelogs and I can't find anything in the
gtk-engines module that could cause such a slowdown though...
