Right at time of writing (17:06 EST), the following anoncvs.gnome.org
servers aren't working:

va.debian.org (rejected access)
atlas.cs.cuc.edu (connection refused)
SOD.RES.CMU.EDU (connection refused)

The only other one is:

dagon.mandrake.net 

But is very, very slow/hangs. So out of 4 servers in the DNS:

anoncvs.gnome.org has address 128.2.91.30
anoncvs.gnome.org has address 206.65.239.12
anoncvs.gnome.org has address 207.222.40.127
anoncvs.gnome.org has address 209.81.8.242

Only dagon.mandrake.net responds.  Pretty bad folks.

I would gladly offer up a machine to dedicate to this, but as the admin
for ftp.[ca|mx].kernel.org, our T1 is a little saturated right now :-)
